Throughout his studies at Lewis & Clark Law School and George Washington University Law School, Zach Pilchen focused on the legal aspects of environmentalism, energy, and natural resources. Zach Pilchen is a member of the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy and Resources (SEER). Every year, Zach Pilchen contributes to SEER’s “Year in Review,” summarizing significant developments in environmental law.
SEER strives to be the premier forum for lawyers focused on environmental and energy issues. To that end, the section provides accurate and timely information that equips lawyers to learn, teach, and contribute solutions to the environmental problems facing the world.
Each year, members of SEER gather for the Spring Conference to network, exchange ideas, and undertake continued education. Taking place April 18-20 at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek in Florida, the 47th Spring Conference will feature presentations by leaders in their respective fields. Topics will include issues surrounding the Everglades, interstate water disputes, microgrids, environmental permitting, and the current administration’s environmental and energy policies. Expert insight panels, which examine the technical aspects of each topic, will give attendees the opportunity to investigate issues on a deeper level.
